Discovering Chaturbate

In the middle of July this year I discovered the cam site Chaturbate. I'd never looked at a cam site before. When browsing the internet I'd seen pop-ups for other cam sites, but I always immediately closed them. I had no interest. I had an idea of what those type of sites would be, and it was something that didn't interest me. I imagined they'd feature lots of bored-looking women being fake-nice to men, prospective punters, in order to encourage them to spend a premium rate per minute for them to do something sexual. I had no interest in any part of it. I guess I had preconceived ideas about what a cam site was, and like with most preconceived ideas, I was wrong - certainly as far as Chaturbate is concerned.

What I discovered with Chaturbate was something that challenged my preconceived ideas. I found it to be exciting, diverse, a huge turn-on, and genuinely interesting in lots of different ways - an explosion of sexual expression and freedom. And while there are lots of things I've seen on there that I don't like (I'm talking about in the chat), at its core I believe the whole Chaturbate experience is a genuinely positive one - and I'm sure this extends to other cam sites too, but for now Chaturbate is the only one of which I have any experience.

I've started this blog - which I don't really expect anyone to read, because I've not linked it to anything else, so it'll probably just stay hidden in a dark, dusty, unexplored little corner of the internet - to record some of my experiences on Chaturbate, and any thoughts, impressions or ideas that spark from it.

And also, it is a quietly spoken, and probably unheard, thank you, from me to all the wonderful broadcasters whom it has been, and will be, my enormous privilege to see on Chaturbate.
